JOB SUMMARY The SPDG MTSS Specialist is essential in providing exceptional professional development and technical assistance to schools across the state. The primary goal of this role is to support schools in implementing and enhancing the Multi-Tiered System of Support (MTSS), academic and behavioral interventions, and evidence-based instructional practices. With a particular emphasis on addressing the needs of struggling learners and students with disabilities, we strive to empower educators to create effective learning environments for all students.

By collaborating closely with schools, this position aims to foster a culture of continuous improvement and provide the necessary tools and knowledge to optimize student success.

Funding Source:
This position is funded by a federal grant scheduled to end on September 30, 2027.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor’s degree in education, special education, school psychology, public health, or a closely related field [official transcripts required upon hire];

At least five (5) years of experience working in education, with experience coaching or mentoring adults;

Possession of a valid Oklahoma teaching certification in any area.
