Locations and Compensation

On‑site positions available in Austin, TX;
Fort Worth, TX; or Scottsdale (Phoenix), AZ.

$100,000 annual salary paid weekly. Health benefits start on day one, including HSA/FSA and 401(k) Roth options. Relocation assistance provided.

Alpha Schools uses AI‑driven adaptive learning platforms and peer mentorship to replace conventional lectures and printed textbooks. The role involves guiding students toward self‑discovery and personal strengths, rather than delivering pre‑written lesson plans.

Responsibilities include facilitating workshops, sparking curiosity, and supporting student‑owned education, without grading assignments or adhering to rigid curricula.

• Serve as a mentor to K‑2 students, establishing trust and cultivating a limitless mindset
• Leverage AI‑based and adaptive learning platforms to customize educational journeys
• Create and facilitate life‑skills workshops covering public speaking, goal‑setting, and collaboration to equip students for long‑term success
• Promote a culture centered on curiosity, ambition, and continuous development
• Support students in recognizing their individual strengths and areas of interest

• Willingness to work on‑site at one of the campus locations:
  Austin, TX;
  Fort Worth, TX; or Scottsdale (Phoenix), AZ
• Bachelor's degree in any discipline
• Minimum of 3 years of experience working with children ages 4–8 in educational settings, after school programs, coaching, or comparable environments
• Proficient public speaking abilities, with proven capacity to engage and energize young audiences
• Genuine interest in connecting with, inspiring, and motivating K‑2 students
• Authorization to work legally in the United States without requiring visa sponsorship
• Availability to participate in a paid training program held at the Austin, TX campus

This is a full‑time (40 hours per week) contractor position with Crossover as Contractor of Record. Compensation is $50 USD/hour ($100,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year). Payment is weekly.
