Salary Range: $47,000 - $61,750

To help students learn subject matter and skills that will contribute to their development as mature, able, and responsible adults.

• Meet and instruct assigned classes in designated locations and times.
• Plan a program of study that meets the individual needs, interests, and abilities of students.
• Create a classroom environment conducive to learning and appropriate to the maturity and interest of students.
• Prepare for classes assigned and provide written evidence of preparation upon request of immediate supervisor.
• Encourage students to set and maintain standards of classroom behavior.
• Guide the learning process toward the achievement of curriculum goals, set clear objectives for lessons, units, and projects, and communicate these objectives to students.

• Illinois Professional Educator License with appropriate endorsements.
• Minimum of a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university.
• LBS1 preferred.

Term: Length of School Year

Evaluation: Performance evaluated per Board of Education policies.

Hours: Monday-Friday 8:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
