ROLE SUMMARY
As a Studio Manager (SM), you deliver a world‑class Core Power Yoga experience by leading studio operations, coaching teachers, creating a premium sensory environment, and training a team of yoga teachers and mindful leaders. You build and grow a culture of Core Values and partner with your District Manager to sustain growth and achieve studio‑level goals.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES- Be a brand ambassador and business driver for Core Power Yoga in the studio and market.
- Own all processes related to day‑to‑day studio operations, including leading the teaching team and Studio Coordinator(s).
- Partner with local sales to generate membership leads and achieve studio membership or founding membership goals.
- Recruit, train, and onboard teachers and staff according to class count targets.
- Meet and exceed performance targets for membership, teacher training revenue, class count and attendance, client retention, and net promoter score (NPS).
- Lead and recruit for Teacher Training programs (200HR, 50HR, intensives) to support teacher recruitment and revenue.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to support business priorities.
- Foster a community of Teachers and Studio Experience Team (SET) to deliver an excellent studio and class experience.
- Stabilize studio growth during post‑opening and throughout its lifecycle, supporting profitability and cultural growth.
- Operate a minimum of 40 hours per week, primarily in‑studio, and be available to work additional hours and at least one weekend day per week.
- Teach a minimum of four classes per week in multiple formats.
- Communicate and enforce Core Power Yoga policies, initiatives, and protocols to staff, aligning with the company’s Core Values and Employee Handbook.
- Partner with the analytics team to design schedules based on student history and preferences.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a studio manager or equivalent leadership role.
- Facilitation and training experience required; 200HR certification preferred.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for growing community and a track record of exceeding key performance metrics.
- Ability to work cross‑functionally with diverse personalities and styles at all seniority levels.
- Strong organizational, time‑management, and multitasking skills.
- Adaptability to meet multiple deadlines and navigate shifting construction timelines for new studios.
- 5–6 days a week, 40+ hours per week, including one weekend day.
- Availability to match business needs and leadership schedules (morning, evening, weekend, some holidays).
- Physical ability to move around the studio, crouch, reach, and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Flexibility to teach any class format with little or no notice.
