Under the general supervision of the Associate Dean and Program Chair, the Adjunct Instructor will provide instruction to students in Business Communication or Business Communication Strategies courses, which could include face-to-face or online. Both of these classes contain an online software component. The instructor is responsible for grading and turning in grades. This is a part-time, temporary position.

Essential FunctionsProvide instruction (face-to-face or online) in Business Communication or Business Communication Strategies courses. Assess student performance and submit grades. Participate in program meetings as required.
Required Knowledge,Skills and Abilities
Master's degree in English or equivalent; at least 18 graduate hours in English; experience teaching in a secondary or postsecondary setting; teaching experience in online environment.
Minimum Qualifications- Master’s degree in English or Master’s degree + 18 graduate hours in English
- Experience teaching in a secondary or postsecondary setting
- Teaching experience in the online environment
Salary TBD. Part-time temporary employees are eligible to participate in the TIAA retirement plan through a Roth, SRA, or 457(B) account, with no match provided by the College.
ScheduleThis is a part-time temporary position with assignments based on program needs.
