Salary: $15.05 Per Hour

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associate’s degree preferred.
• Satisfy all district requirements with regard to physical health and citizenship.
• Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board of Education may find appropriate and acceptable.
• Citizenship, residency or work visa required.

Fulfill duties as assigned by the site for the proper functioning of the school.

• Meets and instructs assigned classes in the locations and times designated.
• Provides classroom instruction to students as outlined in lesson plans or supervisor instructions.
• Maintains a safe and orderly environment.
• Maintains established routine of the school and classroom procedures in which they are assigned.
• Takes all necessary and reasonable precautions to protect students, equipment, materials, and facilities.
• Creates an environment that is conducive to learning and appropriate to the maturity and interests of students.
• Maintains reasonable rules of conduct which encourage self-discipline and responsibility.
• Communicates effectively with staff and parents as needed.
• Collaborates with others to meet the needs of the school site.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

Nine (9) month classified hourly contract. FLSA

Regular Requirements:

Occasional Requirements:
Reach with hands and arms overhead, above shoulder and horizontally; lift/move up to 50 pounds.

Visual Requirements:
Close, color, peripheral, depth perception, ability to adjust focus.

Hearing/Speaking Requirements:
Adequate to exchange information.
