Position Summary:

The Supervisor – Field Services Training is responsible for leading, developing, implementing, and continuously improving the MIRATECH Field Services training, qualification, and certification programs. This position serves as the organizational owner of technician onboarding, technical training, certification administration, competency development, qualification verification, training records, instructor development, and recurring workforce development initiatives.

Essential Responsibilities:
  • Training Program Leadership
  • Lead and continuously improve the Field Services Training Program.
  • Establish annual training plans and workforce development strategies.
  • Create and maintain standardized training processes across all technician levels.
  • Own the technician onboarding program from offer acceptance through independent field qualification.
  • Administer the Field Service Technician Certification Program.
  • Maintain certification requirements across Technician I, Technician II, Technician III, Lead, Senior, and specialty qualification levels.
  • Coordinate written, practical, laboratory, and field evaluations.
  • Facilitate certification review and approval processes.
  • Manage recertification, remediation, and qualification maintenance programs.
  • Monitor technician progression and development plans.
  • Track certification status across the field workforce and provide regular reporting to leadership.
  • Maintain alignment between training requirements and the Covered Task Library.
  • Develop and maintain training materials, work instructions, presentations, references, troubleshooting resources, simulations, and practical exercises.
  • Develop and maintain training programs covering

    Technical Skills Development.
  • Conduct field observations and technician evaluations.
  • Perform field audits.
  • Provide quality and compliance support.
  • Identify and develop future trainers and subject matter experts.
  • Develop and deliver customer-facing technical training.
  • Develop and track training metrics and reporting.
Qualifications:
  • Education
    • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, Technical Education, Business, or a related field preferred.
    • Equivalent combination of technical training, certifications, and relevant field experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Experience
    • Minimum of 7 years of experience in field service, commissioning, maintenance, technical support, training, or a related technical discipline.
    • Minimum of 3 years of leadership, supervisory, training, or workforce development experience.
    • Experience developing and delivering technical training programs preferred.
  • Technical Skills
    • Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, controls, commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance activities.
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, Salesforce, learning management systems, and other business platforms.
    • Working knowledge of root cause analysis, quality systems, and technical documentation practices.
  • Communication Skills
    • Strong verbal, written, presentation, and facilitation skills.
    • Ability to communicate effectively with technicians, customers, leadership, and cross-functional teams.
    • Capable of developing technical training materials, procedures, and instructional content.
  • Organizational Skills
    • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, projects, and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
    • Strong planning, coordination, and problem‑solving skills.
    • Ability to lead initiatives independently while collaborating across departments.
  • Travel Requirements
    • Ability to travel up to 50% as required to support training delivery, field evaluations, audits, customer training, and workforce development initiatives.
