Part-time Instructor, Heavy Equipment Operator
Position
Description:
- Minimum of three (3) years of recent industry experience in heavy equipment operation, construction, earthmoving, or a related field.
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations, workplace safety standards, and equipment maintenance practices required.
- Teaching, training, mentoring, or workforce development experience preferred.
- Flexibility to work two evenings per week as scheduled throughout the spring and fall semesters required.

High School Diploma or equivalent; NCCER Heavy Equipment Operator (HEO) Certified Instructor.

Standard rate schedule for non-regular (temporary, adjunct, substitute) and regular part-time employees.
Hiring Range:
$35 per hour

Regular Requirements:

Reach with hands and arms overhead, above shoulder and horizontally; lift/move up to 40 pounds. Must be able to travel or work extended hours, as needed.

Close, color, peripheral, depth perception, ability to adjust focus.
Hearing/Speaking Requirements:
Adequate to exchange information.
