Function of the Job
The Floater works closely with teaching staff to help meet the needs of the children. The Floater is support for the teacher during breaks or anytime the teacher is out of the classroom.
SupervisionThe Floater is under the supervision of the Preschool Director.
Duties and Responsibilities- Assists in creating a safe and healthy learning environment for young children
- Assists teachers during bathroom breaks and/or diaper changing and whole class transitions
- Maintains inventory and supplies
- Cleans and organizes resource closets and storage for play equipment
- Performs daily opening and closing duties according to the schedule
- Attends devotions, required activities, workshops and meetings
- Displays professional conduct in all matters of the preschool
