We are hiring a Lead Power Generation Technician in Tulsa, OK
, to join and help lead a growing power generation operation. This is a rare opportunity to join a company with large commercial and industrial contracts

The owner is actively seeking a top‑tier generator technician who wants to take on a lead role and is willing to cover full relocation expenses to Tulsa for the right candidate. This is a full‑time field position

, with a focus on both generator service and equipment sales support. The ideal candidate is highly experienced with diesel generators, ATS, switch gear, and has the ability to lead, advise, and take charge of technical operations.

• Perform preventative maintenance, diagnostics, and major repairs on diesel and natural gas generators ranging from 20kW to 2MW+.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical systems
  , engine failures, ATS controls, and generator control panels.
• Support generator sales consultations with site walks, equipment sizing, and technical recommendations.
• Assist with installations, commissioning
  , and startup of new units.
• Lead and guide junior technicians; provide on‑site direction and mentor newer team members.
• Ensure high‑quality service and communication for clients with mission‑critical infrastructure
  .
• Work with project managers and dispatch to ensure proper scheduling and workflow.
• Maintain organized service records, inventory tracking, and customer interaction logs via field software.

• 5+ years of experience as a field technician working on industrial/commercial diesel generators
  .
• Deep understanding of ATS, switch gear, load bank testing
  , paralleling systems, and generator controls.
• Ability to work independently, solve complex technical problems, and deliver solutions in the field.
• Professional demeanor and customer‑focused approach with strong communication skills.
• Experience working on major OEM brands such as Cummins, CAT, Kohler, Generac, MTU, or similar.
• Capable of providing technical support on generator sales proposals and project walkthroughs.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Willingness to relocate to Tulsa, OK (relocation paid for by employer).

• $45 per hour
