* Job Description:

** We are seeking a reliable and experienced Generator Technician to perform maintenance, repairs, and installations of generators for our clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background with experience working on a variety of generator makes and models.

Day shift position Monday thru Friday 8a-5p. Rotating on call nights and weekends.

Pay is DOE $25-40 per hour

* Responsibilities:*

Experience with 2000KW generators or larger

• Perform routine maintenance on generators, including oil changes, filter replacements, and coolant checks.
• Diagnose and repair generator issues, such as engine failure, electrical malfunctions, and fuel system problems.
• Install new generators and ensure they are properly connected and functioning.
• Test generators to ensure they are in good working order and meet client specifications.
• Keep detailed records of all maintenance and repair work performed on generators.

** Requirements:**

• High school diploma or equivalent.
  Technical or associates degree highly preferred
• Certification or training in generator repair and maintenance.

Electrical Generator Systems Technician Certification as apprentice or journeyman highly preferred

• At least 3 years of experience working as a generator technician.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
