Site Safety Manager

Job Description

West Tulsa Manufacturing company seeking an experienced safety manager.

This position's main objective is to direct and implement an organization safety program to ensure safe, healthy, and accident-free work environment

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Implements safety policies and procedures in compliance with local, state, and federal Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) rules and regulations.

• Drives company truck to work sites for safety and delivering safety equipment

• Conduct safety meetings and inspects organization facilities to detect existing or potential accident and health hazards, determines corrective or preventative measures where indicated, and follows up to ensure measures have been implemented.

• Assists management and supervisors in investigating accidents and developing measures to prevent recurrences.

• Compiles and submits accident/near miss reports to the Safety Director required by regulatory agencies.

• Plan health and safety training per job requirements

Certificates Needed

• 30 hours OSHA General Industries

• 30 hours General Industries Outreach Trainer

Computer Skills
- • Microsoft Office including Word, Outlook & Excel

This position will report to the Safety Director and Upper Management.

Minimum of 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment as a safety manager is desired.
