** The Role
** We’re looking for a motivated
** Graduate Civil Engineer
** to join our Roads & Highways team in Sunshine Coast.

This role offers hands-on experience across project delivery, technical design and professional collaboration, supported by experienced engineers who are invested in your development.

As a Graduate Engineer, you’ll work under supervision to support the successful delivery of projects while building your technical and professional capability.
** Key Accountabilities include, but are not limited to:
*** Apply project management principles to deliver assigned tasks on time, within scope and budget
* Assist with detailed design, analysis and technical documentation
* Use standard engineering and scientific methods to solve problems
* Work on defined components of larger projects under guidance
* Follow document management, quality, safety and environmental requirements
* Proactively manage your time and seek feedback to continuously improve your work
* Actively participate in team meetings, training and development activities
* Support Senior Engineers with designs, calculations, reports and specifications
* Contribute to proposals and other project documentation
* Develop an understanding of commercial and financial aspects of projects
* Apply relevant legislation, standards and professional ethics in your work
* Build your technical knowledge and chosen engineering specialisation
* Help clarify client and stakeholder needs to support effective solutions
* Work collaboratively, valuing the input of others and knowing when to seek assistance
* Build strong internal and external professional relationships
** About You
**** Suitable applicants will be/have:
*** A recent graduate in Engineering (or soon to graduate)
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* A proactive attitude and eagerness to learn
* Good time management and attention to detail
* In interest in developing both technical expertise and commercial awareness
