Environmental Specialist

We’re hiring an Environmental Specialist who’s passionate about sustainability and compliance. In this role, you’ll lead daily environmental operations, ensure regulatory compliance, and work across departments to build a strong environmental culture.

This position is based on site at our Tulsa plant—we’re proud to build industry-leading school buses—including advanced Electric Vehicles—at a facility capable of producing up to 70 buses a day. We’re committed to innovation, flexibility, and environmental stewardship.

• Manage environmental permits and support ISO certifications.
• Lead training programs and collaborate with our Corporate Environmental Team on broader initiatives.
• Monitor key metrics, drive continuous improvement, and serve as a liaison with local agencies.
• Lead daily environmental operations, ensure regulatory compliance, and work across departments to build an environmental culture.

• Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree and at least two years of environmental health and safety experience in manufacturing, a master’s degree, or four years of relevant experience.
• Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
