Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electrical/Software Engineer to support the design, development, and integration of electrical systems within our aerospace and simulation manufacturing environment. This position will play a critical role in the design of electrical systems, schematics, panel layouts, wire harness assemblies, and troubleshooting of control systems used in our mockups and training devices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design electrical systems including wiring diagrams, control systems, and harness assemblies.
  • Design and integration knowledge of various control systems including Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), Variable Frequency Drives (VFD) Panels, Process Controllers (PID), & Smart Relay Systems.
  • Collaborate with mechanical and software teams to ensure seamless system integration.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues during production phases.
  • Support manufacturing teams with electrical system integrations and hardware installation.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support engineering and production goals.
Qualifications
  • Demonstrated expertise in electrical engineering within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to read, interpret, & create engineering drawings and technical documents.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree or accredited training in Engineering or a related field.
  • Previous electrical engineering experience in a manufacturing setting.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Strong proficiency in 3D-modeling CAD software (Autodesk Inventor & AutoCAD preferred).
  • Preferred background in aerospace / simulation engineering and manufacturing.
Work Environment &

Physical Requirements
  • Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs.
  • Visual acuity for reading engineering documents and specifications.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in person, in writing and via email / telephone.
