We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Engineering Manager to lead our aerospace / simulation manufacturing engineering operations. This role is responsible for overseeing engineering personnel, ensuring adherence to industry standards, assigned budgets and driving continuous improvement across engineering processes.
Key Responsibilities- Provide leadership and technical oversight to the engineering team.
- Develop, implement, and enforce engineering policies and procedures to ensure product compliance with specifications.
- Ensure all engineering personnel are fully trained and adhere to operational standards.
- Drive process improvements and support the integration of new technologies and systems.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with production, quality, and business development teams.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support organizational goals.
- Demonstrated expertise in engineering within a manufacturing environment. To include structural, mechanical, finite element analysis, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic. Some software background desired.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in technical tools including spreadsheets, databases, and project management software.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documents.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of engineering experience in a manufacturing setting.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Strong proficiency in 3D-modeling CAD software. Autodesk Inventor & AutoCAD preferred.
- Preferred background in aerospace / simulation engineering and manufacturing.
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs.
- Visual acuity for reading engineering documents and specifications.
- Ability to communicate effectively in person, in writing and via telephone.
