XRG Technologies is seeking a talented senior process engineer with expertise in fired heater design and CFD analysis to join our growing team in Tulsa, OK, USA or Amsterdam, Netherlands. What you’ll do:- Design and optimize fired heaters and boilers.
- Perform heat transfer, combustion, and hydraulics calculations using tools such as FRNC-5 and XRG-proprietary software.
- Perform CFD simulations of combustion and heat transfer equipment.
- Support field surveys, commissioning, and performance testing.
- Collaborate on R&D and proprietary software development.
- BS in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering (MS preferred)
- 10+ years of process engineering experience with fired heat transfer equipment (fired heaters, boilers, etc.), including field experience.
- Experience with industrial controls and instrumentation (preferred)
- Extensive familiarity with applicable API, ASME, ASTM standards
- Experience with CFD/FEA (preferred)
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
