Job DescriptionCompensation: $150,000 – $220,000 / yr Travel: Up to 25%
The Opportunity Join a team where your work truly matters. We are looking for a Project Director to lead the execution of complex energy infrastructure projects spanning natural gas, liquids, and power systems. What You Will Do As Project Director, you will guide multidisciplinary teams through the full lifecycle of facility design and delivery—including processing plants, compressor stations, pipelines, and power generation units.
Strategic Leadership: Lead cross-functional teams (engineers, PMs, technical specialists) to deliver high-impact outcomes with precision.
Financial Stewardship: Oversee multi-year departmental budgets, ensuring accurate forecasting, transparency, and rigorous cost/schedule controls.
Technical Excellence: Evaluate complex technical alternatives and oversee the approval of detailed documentation to ensure alignment with engineering standards and business goals.
Stakeholder Management: Foster strong partnerships with contractors, producers, and customers while communicating strategic updates to senior leadership.
Process Improvement: Implement scalable work processes and tools (Oracle, Primavera) to enhance team efficiency and project execution.
RequirementsWhat We Are Looking For
Experience: 7+ years (with Bachelor’s) or 5+ years (with Master’s) in engineering, project controls, or commercial development within the Oil & Gas or Energy industry.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field is required. Master’s degree preferred.
Technical
Skills:
Proficiency in project scheduling (MS Project, Primavera, Oracle) and data analysis (Power BI) to forecast volumes and assess metrics.
Industry Knowledge: Strong grasp of DOT design standards, EPC workflows, and Combined Cycle Plant operations.
Certifications: PE License and/or PMP certification are highly preferred.
