XRG Technologies is seeking a talented CFD/Process engineer with expertise in combustion CFD modeling to join our growing team. What you’ll do:- Build, run, and interpret CFD simulations of combustion and heat transfer equipment to assess performance, troubleshoot issues, and evaluate design options.
- Design and optimize fired heaters, boilers, and heat exchangers.
- Perform heat transfer, combustion, and hydraulics calculations using tools such as FRNC-5 and XRG-proprietary software.
- Support field surveys, commissioning, and performance testing.
- Collaborate on R&D and CFD methods improvement/development.
- BS in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering (MS preferred)
- 3+ years of CFD (Fluent, StarCCM+, etc.) experience in a related field
- Experience with engineering heat transfer (fired heaters, boilers, heat exchangers, etc.) and/or combustion equipment
- Familiarity with applicable API, ASME, ASTM standards
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
