* Job Summary:

** Create bill of materials for new and old product lines using AAON software. Process and approve customer orders.
** Essential Responsibilities/

Activities:

*** Configures bills efficiently for ease of understanding, completeness, and accuracy.
* Works closely with Design Engineering, Electrical Drafting and Electrical Engineering departments to guarantee a set amount of jobs are processed out of engineering each day.
* Reads and understands technical manuals, instructions, and criteria.
* Reads and reviews electrical diagrams.
* Reviews product design for company standards, engineering principles, and specifications.
* Confirms customer selections are compatible with manufacture’s specifications.
* Reviews bill of material and product specifications to accurately determine the amount and type of materials and components required.
* Incorporates Engineering Change Notices into bill of materials.
* Processes basic customer orders and provides final engineering approval.

* Education and Experience Requirements:

*** Minimum of a high school diploma or GED.
* Minimum of 1 year of bill of materials experience in the HVAC industry or equivalent experience in a similar industry.

* Essential Physical Functions:

*** Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
* Ability to sit or stand for up to 95 percent of work hours.
* Work requires periodic visits to the manufacturing facility with seasonal hot and cold temperatures, dust, and some chemical fume exposure.
