We are seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead the design and optimization of electrical systems supporting critical infrastructure, including pipelines, compressor stations, and storage facilities.
This is a high-impact opportunity to drive innovation through advanced technologies such as automation, real-time monitoring, and energy storage while ensuring operational safety, reliability, and regulatory compliance.
You will manage complex engineering projects from concept through completion, aligning technical solutions with business objectives and timelines.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of electrical systems and power distribution networks
- Support power generation systems and controls integration
- Implement arc flash mitigation strategies and fault detection systems
- Provide expertise in electrical schematics, system layouts, and infrastructure upgrades
- Ensure compliance with NEC, NEMA, API, IEEE, and other applicable standards
- Manage engineering projects from concept to commissioning
- Collaborate cross-functionally to deliver high-quality engineering solutions
- Mentor junior engineers and foster technical growth
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited university
- 8+ years of engineering experience in natural gas, power generation, data centers, or related industries
- Strong background in power generation and controls
- Experience reviewing arc flash studies and implementing corrective actions
- Knowledge of medium and high voltage systems
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Professional Engineer (PE) License
- Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering
- Experience with PLCs, HMI systems, and instrumentation design
- Experience in Pre-FEED, FEED, or EPC projects
- Power Generation & Plant Commissioning
- Controls & Automation Engineering
- Medium/High Voltage Systems, VFDs, PLCs
- SCADA, Factory Talk, Ladder Logic
- HART, Modbus TCP/IP, Ethernet/IP
- OSI Historian, AVEVA, SAP Maintenance Systems
