Project Manager, Water Resources, H&H

Overview

WSB & Associates, Inc. dba WSB is seeking a licensed Professional Engineer with at least 7 years of experience in watershed modeling, pond design, stormwater systems planning and design, water quality, and general stormwater management to join our team. The role focuses on delivering high-quality engineering solutions for clients and communities by applying expertise in water resources and stormwater management.

• Work with clients and project teams to determine and develop project objectives, scopes, budgets, deliverables, and schedules.
• Maintain client communication and project documentation.
• Plan, coordinate, and oversee project activities to ensure on-time delivery.
• Anticipate project challenges and advise the team on alternative solutions.
• Ensure project deliveries meet quality standards.
• Mentor and evaluate staff.
• Assist in the training of staff in standard practices and procedures.
• Analyze project profitability, revenue and billing rates, and monthly project invoices.
• Conduct business development and develop client relationships related to floodplain and stormwater management.
• Travel to client and project locations for submittal reviews, field verification of models, proposal presentations, and other client management activities.

• 7+ years of experience in water resource and stormwater management.
• A minimum of 3 years of project management experience.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil, Biosystems, or Environmental Engineering.
• A current PE license or the ability to obtain one within 6 months.
• A valid driver's license, a clean driving record, and the ability to work at a variety of locations.

• FEMA LOMC Submittals
• Preferred candidates will have:
• Proven project management experience
• Experience managing, developing, and mentoring staff
• Desire to be involved in business development activities
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and terrains related to site visits and project activities
• Excellent organizational and communications skills
• Ability to work independently as well as on a project team
