Job Description & How to Apply Below
Are you an Electrical Engineer who's tired of maintaining the status quo? We're building something better, and we want you on the team with a runway into Electrical Engineering Manager in 18-24 months!
Position SummaryWe are hiring an Electrical Engineer to join our team and take full ownership of the electrical systems that keep our manufacturing operations running at peak performance. This is a hands‑on, high‑impact role for an engineer who thrives in a fast‑paced industrial environment, knows their way around a control panel as well as a project plan, and takes pride in building systems that last.
If you want a role where your decisions directly influence uptime, safety, and production efficiency, this is it.
- Design, develop, and maintain electrical systems, control panels, and equipment to support continuous production operations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues across motors, transformers, lighting systems, and manufacturing machinery, keeping downtime to a minimum.
- Build out and continuously improve our Preventive Maintenance Program (PMP) to drive equipment reliability and operational efficiency.
- Program, test, and maintain PLC and HMI systems that power our manufacturing automation and process controls.
- Lead and support engineering projects involving electrical and control system modifications, from concept through commissioning.
- Partner with maintenance and production teams to ensure operations remain safe, compliant, and running smoothly.
- Ensure all work meets NEC, NFPA 70, OSHA, IEC, and IEEE standards, and maintain clear technical documentation and schematics throughout.
- A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) from an ABET-accredited institution, or equivalent hands‑on technical experience.
- 3+ years of experience in electrical design, PLC and HMI programming (Allen‑Bradley, Siemens), and hardware integration and testing.
- At least 3 years of leadership or project management experience in electrical maintenance, control systems, or power electronics environments.
- Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD and industrial electrical systems, including control circuits and safety practices.
