Responsibilities
As a Structural Engineer within the Advanced Manufacturing team, you will work on Data Center projects, including new builds, retrofits, and colocations. Your responsibilities include performing a variety of analysis, creating computer models for structures, and performing calculations for member designs and foundations. You will prepare material take-offs for estimating, miscellaneous calculations, and assist with schedules. You will collaborate with a diverse team of engineers and designers on capital projects and coordinate designs with other Jacobs offices domestically and internationally.
Qualifications- Bachelor of Science in Civil or Structural Engineering
- At least 5 years of professional experience in structural engineering
- Registered Professional Engineer with the ability to become registered in additional states
- Pre-cast building / garage experience
- Knowledge of CAD software, such as Auto Cad, Revit, Micro Station and S3D
- Proficiency with structural analysis software such as RISA or STAAD
- Knowledge and application of ACI, AISC, ASCE 7, AIST Technical Report 13, and other industry relevant design code and standards
- Knowledge and application of Building Codes
- Proficiency with MS Office suite software including MS Teams for remote coordination
- Ability to travel to various client’s sites (approx. 10% to 20% travel)
- Master of Science in Engineering
- Experience with industrial metals projects including casting and rolling operations or similar heavy industrial projects
- Ability to lead teams to deliver commitments on schedule and on budget while meeting quality and client expectations

The base salary range for this position is $85,000.00 to $. Individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
