We are seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to support the design of small components and assemblies for sensor, electronic, electromechanical, and precision optical systems. This role is ideal for candidates with early-career experience who have strong proficiency in CAD tools and relevant design exposure.

• Design and develop small components and assemblies using CAD software.
• Support engineering efforts for sensor, electronic, electromechanical, or optical systems.
• Create and modify 3D models, drawings, and documentation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support product development and production needs.
• Apply engineering fundamentals to meet design requirements and timelines.

• Bachelors Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior mechanical design experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 6 years of prior related experience.
• Proficiency in Siemens NX.
• High experience with at least one CAD platform:
  Solid Works, CATIA, or Creo.
• Understanding of mechanical design principles and manufacturing considerations.

• Experience with GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing).
• Exposure to design for production or production line support.
• Basic knowledge of shock, vibration, or stress analysis.
