Automation Sales Specialist – End User
LocationTulsa, OK
Responsibilities- Build and grow relationships with industrial End Users by identifying automation opportunities tied to modernization, reliability improvement, and operational efficiency.
- Lead the sales process by aligning customer challenges with industrial automation solutions including PLCs, HMIs, drives, motion, safety, and industrial networking.
- Identify, qualify, and advance automation opportunities across engineering, operations, maintenance, and capital project stakeholders.
- Collaborate with existing sales representatives to support established End User accounts by delivering automation expertise, assisting with opportunity development, and identifying growth opportunities while maintaining alignment with existing account ownership.
- Stay informed on industrial trends, customer operational challenges, and competitive alternatives to strengthen solution relevance and value messaging.
- Education:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business, or related field (or equivalent relevant experience). - Experience:
5+ years in industrial automation sales, technical sales, or related industrial roles. Experience working with plant engineering, operations, maintenance, or capital projects preferred. - Technical Knowledge:
Working knowledge of industrial automation systems and control architecture. Understanding of modernization strategies and competitive automation platforms. - Professional
Skills:
Strong consultative selling and relationship management capabilities with the ability to manage multiple opportunities across varied stakeholders. Clear communication and presentation skills.
