Position: Mechanical Design Engineer with Security Clearance
Chipton-Ross is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer for a contract opportunity in Tulsa, OK. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE)
* Minimum 2 years of mechanical design experience.

* Proficiency in Siemens NX.

* High experience with at least one CAD platform:
Solid Works, CATIA, or Creo.

* Understanding of mechanical design principles and manufacturing considerations. POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
* Design and develop small components and assemblies using CAD software.

* Support engineering efforts for sensor, electronic, electromechanical, or optical systems.

* Create and modify 3D models, drawings, and documentation.

* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support product development and production needs.

* Apply engineering fundamentals to meet design requirements and timelines. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE)
* Experience with GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing).

* Exposure to design for production or production line support.

* Basic knowledge of shock, vibration, or stress analysis.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS (if noted by client in their req): REQUIRED EDUCATION
* Accredited Bachelors Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 6 years of prior related experience. WORK HOURS

* Candidate must have the ability to obtain a secret clearance. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
