This role focuses on building dashboards, KPIs, and reports using tools such as Power BI and Palantir Foundry to deliver actionable insights and improve decision-making. The analyst transforms complex datasets into meaningful business intelligence, automates reporting processes, and enhances data pipelines to improve efficiency and accuracy.

Strong collaboration with cross-functional teams is required to translate business needs into scalable analytics solutions.

#Education & Job Requirements

* Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering with a minimum of 5 years of prior related experience.

* 4+ years of experience using 3-D CAD software tools in design function, including Solid Works or equivalent modeling software.

* 2+ years of experience interpreting and performing to military and/or industry specifications and standards pertaining to design, testing, hardware, material, and processes.

#Preferred Skills

* 2+ years of experience in Commercial, Navy, or Military specifications for environmental qualification testing.

* Experience working with power distribution switch gear or similar low, medium, or high-power equipment.

* 2+ years of experience reading and interpreting wiring diagrams and schematics.

* Experience in the design of shock and vibration mitigation for sheet metal weldment electrical enclosures.

* Demonstrated ability to lead and execute tasks with minimal guidance.

* Ability to lead others in a design team and execute tasks on time and on budget.

* Excellent technical writing skills demonstrated through authorship of technical documentation, including design reports and test procedures.

#Job Duties & Functions

* Perform mechanical engineering, structural, and thermal analysis of power distribution systems.

* Develop mechanical layouts and packaging for switchboards, load centers, and power distribution panels.

* Interpret specifications and requirements to resolve complex mechanical design and analysis problems.

* Lead mechanical engineering design efforts on assigned projects.

* Ensure compliance with military and industry standards for design, testing, materials, and processes.
