JOB TITLE: Structural and Payload Design Engineer 3 - Aerospace

LOCATION: Oklahoma City, OK

PAY RATE: $77.00 per hour

Summary of responsibilities:

• Develops, integrates, and documents structural and interior payload system requirements to establish system design.
• Utilizes 3D CAD tools and other design methods to create and modify designs, providing product definitions to engineering, production, suppliers, and customers throughout the product lifecycle.
• Integrates analytical and test results to ensure systems and components meet specifications.
• Manages supplier development and production activities to optimize design and meet program goals.
• Innovates new design processes and tools to enhance development efficiency.
• Investigates emerging technologies to conceptualize future product designs.
• Works under the guidance of technical leads and managers.
• Participates in daily team meetings to receive work packages and duties.
• Ensures quality and meets deadlines with team support.

Required skills:

• Typical requirement is a Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or chemistry.
• 5+ years of related experience (Master's + 3 years, PhD also considered).
• ABET accreditation preferred but not required.
