• Analyze, research, and develop materials and their related application processes for use in engineering design of and/or application in structures, systems, and subsystems.
• Apply principles of chemistry, physics, and material science to investigate material issues and provide solutions.
• Work in a team environment with other engineering organizations, performing detailed technical reviews of drawings, specifications, and manufacturing plans.

• Ability to obtain a DOD Secret Clearance and to obtain and maintain a Program Special access within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business needs.
• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline and 8 years of related engineering experience; or a Master’s degree in a STEM discipline and 6 years of related engineering experience; or a PhD in a STEM discipline and 4 years of related engineering experience.

• Experience working on military aircraft.
• Experience preparing and presenting oral and written reports.
• Master’s degree in Engineering, Chemistry, or Material Science.
• Experience with material obsolescence issues and qualifying materials.
• Experience with LO materials.
