Manufacturing Engineer
The Manufacturing Engineer optimizes factory costs, quality, and customer service through the conception, development, and implementation of new or improved manufacturing processes, equipment, tooling, material flow, plant layout, or product design.
Responsibilities- Coordinate and implement basic training initiatives to support manufacturing.
- Specify and justify basic capital expenditures.
- Purchase and implement tooling and equipment to support daily operations.
- Provide basic technical support and troubleshooting for manufacturing processes and equipment.
- Recognize and recommend design and process changes to improve manufacturability.
- Identify and implement improvements to material utilization, cell layout and machinery efficiency.
- Provide summarized data to influence key management decisions relating to budgeting, staffing, and capacity planning.
- Participate in Lean and safety initiatives.
- Manage basic individual projects in accordance with predetermined completion dates.
- Support production and manufacturing to optimize quality, productivity, on‑time delivery, and operational efficiencies resulting in improved customer satisfaction.
- Support production and manufacturing quality management system and policies.
- 2‑Year Associate Degree in engineering or equivalent years of job experience required.
- 4‑Year Bachelor Degree preferred.
- 0‑2 years of relevant work experience in engineering required for Level I.
- 3‑5 years of relevant work experience in engineering required for Level II.
- Basic CAD skills preferred.
- SAP experience preferred.
- Basic understanding of Lean concepts preferred.
Starting base pay range: $77,235 – $117,552, depending on job‑related knowledge, skills, experience, and performance.

Physical RequirementsWork is performed in an office environment and requires the ability to operate standard office equipment, such as a computer and phone. Sedentary work. Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects. Repetitive motion. Substantial motions of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers. The person is required to have close visual acuity to perform activities such as preparing and analyzing data, transcribing, viewing a computer terminal, extensive reading.
Occasional mobility required to attend in‑person meetings and complete various office tasks. Work may be performed in the company’s setting, home, or hybrid.
