Pressure Equipment Draftsperson — Heat Exchanger Layouts

• Create fabrication-ready drawings for shell-and-tube exchangers
• Complete Code Data Reports for each assignment
• Design non-code parts when not handled by the Product Designer
• Own tube layouts: tie rods, seal bars, dummy tube locations
• Audit drawings for ASME and TEMA compliance and other applicable standards
• Ensure compatibility with customer specs and shop capabilities
• Provide occasional shop-floor support for measurements/inspections

• Prior drafting experience with shell-and-tube heat exchangers (required)
• High school diploma (vocational drafting/technical training preferred)
• Knowledge of drafting standards, mechanical layout, design logic
• Comfort with CAD tools, tube layout programs, and Microsoft Office
• Blueprint and technical spec interpretation; basic mechanical design understanding
• Familiarity with shop safety; able to use hand measuring tools (e.g., tape measure)

• Experience preparing Code Data Reports
• Exposure to ASME standards and ISO compliance frameworks

• Pay: $25–$35/hour DOE
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, Day Shift
