What We Are Looking For:
A highly motivated Application Engineer with a strong background in mechanical or fluids engineering who enjoys solving complex problems using cutting-edge simulation tools. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic about working across industries, interacting with customers, and supporting both technical and sales initiatives.
What You Will Be Doing:
- Provide technical support, consulting, and training to users of Ansys Mechanical and CFD
- Support technical sales and pre-sales initiatives
- Deliver solutions using Ansys and Synopsys simulation tools for a diverse customer base
- Collaborate with engineers from industries such as aerospace, automotive, electronics, and biomedical
- Handle sensitive data under DoD and DoE contracts (U.S. citizenship required)
Qualifications:
What You Will Need:
- MS in Mechanical Engineering preferred; strong BS candidates will be considered
- Familiarity with Finite Element Analysis (FEA)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Flexibility to travel 3–5 days/month
- U.S. Citizenship (legal requirement due to government exposure)
