Job Description & How to Apply Below
Sagebrush Pipeline Equipment is a Tulsa-based manufacturer of engineered-to-order process systems for the natural gas, pipeline, and power markets. We design and build complete, skid-mounted systems that integrate piping, mechanical components, and controls into fully functional packages delivered directly to customers.
Our work is centered around modular system design and fabrication, with engineering teams working closely with production to ensure everything we design can be built efficiently and performs in the field.
What You’ll Be Doing- Support the design and execution of natural gas process systems and skid-mounted equipment
- Work across piping, valves, and mechanical components within integrated systems
- Perform component sizing and selection for valves, fittings, regulators, and other mechanical elements
- Complete pressure piping design work and engineering calculations
- Develop customer submittals and supporting documentation
- Create and manage Bills of Materials tied directly to system designs
- Interpret engineering drawings and specifications to support system execution
- Collaborate with engineering, production, and project teams to deliver build-ready designs
- Contribute to system-level design by ensuring all components function together within a complete package
- Experience working with mechanical or process systems, ideally within natural gas, pipeline, or similar industrial environments
- Familiarity with pressure piping systems and mechanical components
- Experience working on complete systems rather than isolated components
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Experience building Bills of Materials and customer-facing documentation or submittals
- Understanding of how multiple components integrate into a functioning system
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field preferred, but equivalent hands‑on experience will be considered
- Ability to work on‑site in Tulsa, Oklahoma
- Experience limited to a single product line such as only valves or only fittings
- Candidates focused primarily on high‑level project coordination without technical ownership
- Engineers without experience working on integrated systems or multi‑component designs
- Experience working with skid-mounted systems or modular process equipment
- Background in natural gas systems, pipeline equipment, or midstream operations
- Exposure to heaters, combustion systems, regulating valves, or control valves
- Familiarity with metering or measurement systems
- Experience in fabrication environments, equipment manufacturing, or EPC projects with system-level involvement
- Opportunity to work on complete, integrated systems instead of isolated parts
- Direct collaboration with fabrication and production teams
- Work that directly translates into real equipment built and delivered to customers
- Exposure to a wide variety of system designs and applications
- Opportunity to learn from experienced engineers and grow into broader engineering or project responsibilities
- Medical, dental, and vision insurance
- 401(k) with company match
- Short- and long-term disability
- Flexible work environment
- Relocation assistance available
