Tulsa Engineering and Planning (tep) is an established full-service civil engineering and land surveying firm seeking an experienced Project Engineer to join our growing Engineering team! The ideal candidate will have 1O + years of experience working with private developers and municipalities in Northeastern Oklahoma.
Job Responsibilities- Serves as a lead Professional Engineer (P.E.) on Public & Private Development including but not limited to:
- Transportation and Street Design
- Sanitary Sewer Extensions
- Private Land Development
- Site Development
- Develops feasible engineering design concepts to meet project requirements.
- Prepares reports, studies, specifications, and pennitting for projects.
- Reviews and redlines production plans for revisions.
- Provides technical support, QA/QC, guidance, and input to Engineering Team.
- Maintains accurate design standards and procedures in assigned work.
- Project management responsibilities on multiple projects. Responsible for successful completion of projects, including coordinating schedule and budget with our Engineering Manager.
- Develops, fosters, and maintains client relationships.
- Meet with contractors/clients on project sites as needed.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment with other engineers, designers and technicians on project activities.
- Participates in virtual, in-office, and out-of-office meetings as needed.
- Hydrology/Hydraulics experience a plus, but not required.
- Bachelor's degree (B.S.) in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited program
- 10+ years of experience required.
- Active Oklahoma Professional Engineer (PE) license.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD & Civil 3D experience required.
- Strong computer and technology skills including proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Adobe and/or Bluebeam.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and client management skills
