Responsible for performing intermediate level engineering work activities and projects requiring the application of engineering knowledge in a safe, effective, efficient and economical manner to accomplish assigned objectives.

What You ll Do:

Technical Expertise: Exhibits advanced level proficiency and knowledge in a specialized technical area to serve as a resource in areas such as system production, underground systems, extensive control systems, thermo-hydraulic control systems, distribution standards, fossil or nuclear plant operations, etc.

Leadership & Guidance: Influences the direction of thinking within the organizational unit and leads, facilitates and coordinates work activities of others. May assume the role of project or function manager for assigned tasks.

Planning & Organization Ability: Develops and implements plans that cover scheduling, resource and cost information to address complex engineering problems requiring input from multiple internal and external entities.

Problem Solving & Initiative: Identifies and resolves complex problems using multi-disciplinary analytical techniques and pursues opportunities and new ideas with system-wide impact.

Communication: Prepares and presents complex technical subjects clearly and persuasively, projects credibility on technical issues, and communicates with senior management, professional organizations, regulatory bodies, etc.

Interpersonal

Skills:

Builds networks across the organization and with external partners and regulators.

Decision Making: Applies experience to make technical decisions with calculated risks and consider long-range impacts across organizational boundaries.

Business Awareness & Characteristics: Identifies opportunities and understands how decisions impact customers and suppliers.

Engineer Assc:
Salary Range: $84,000

This is an entry level position for graduates with a Bachelor's degree in engineering from an ABET-accredited program; passing the Fundamentals of Engineering examination in preparation for future licensing as a Professional Engineer (PE) is encouraged and preferred.

• VP or above may waive the requirement for a degree from a university with a non-ABET-accredited program

Engineer: $86,000 - $105,000

Compensation Range: $74,551.00 - $

The physical demand level for this job is:
Sedentary work (exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally; frequently up to 1/3 to 2/3 of the time for activities like lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling). Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally.
