What Will You Do?
  • Develop and evaluate manufacturing methods to eliminate waste, improve safety, enhance performance and identify opportunities for improvement. Provides support in resolving technical problems.
  • Analyze and plan workforce utilization, space requirements, workflow and design layout of equipment and workspace for maximum efficiency.
  • Responsible for planning and design of fixturing and tooling to ensure efficient production methods.
  • Project manager for capital projects. Coordinate with contractors and internal workforce to oversee the project through completion.
  • Confere with vendors to determine product specifications and arrange for purchase of equipment, materials or parts and evaluate products according to specifications and quality standards.
  • Responsible for generating capital justifications, including ROI percent calculations and Rate of Return.
  • Estimate production times, staffing requirements and related costs to provide information for management decisions.
  • Assist HSE manager when needed to evaluate environmental issues and determine optimum solutions for related concerns and hazardous waste disposal.
  • Confere with management, engineering and other staff regarding manufacturing capabilities, production schedules and other considerations to facilitate production processes.
  • Apply statistical methods to estimate future manufacturing requirements and potential.
  • Develop, track and implement annual capital budget requirements.
Your Physical Work Environment Will Require…
  • Indoor/Office Environment and Shop Exposure
Your Experience Should Be... Professional Experience
  • Minimum 5 years of manufacturing engineering experience.
  • Experience setting up welding processes in production flow environment.
  • Proven project management skills.
  • Excellent written communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Proficient with MS Word, Excel, AutoCAD, Solid Works, PowerPoint and Visio.
  • Understanding of ASME, HTRI, API 661.
Education
  • 4‑year BS Degree in a related field.
  • Mechanical or Electrical Engineering Degree preferred.
  • Metallurgical experience a plus but not required.
  • Aluminum welding process experience a plus.
  • In lieu of a degree, candidates must have at least 10 years experience in manufacturing engineering.
