Seeking an experienced Licensed Civil Engineer / Senior Civil Engineer to join our growing civil engineering team while designing complex industrial facilities across North America.

What You'll Do
As the Licensed Civil Engineer / Senior Civil Engineer, you'll lead civil engineering design projects supporting industrial and commercial developments while mentoring junior engineers.
- Prepare civil plans and specifications including the following:
- Existing Plans, Demo Plans, Utility Plans, and Grading/Drainage Plans
- Roadway layout plans (including truck circulation, loading dock access, parking lot design)
- Utility Profiles
- Add prepare SWPPP narratives
- Develop stormwater management systems, detention/retention ponds, and erosion and sediment control plans.
- Perform hydrologic and hydraulic calculations for site drainage.
- Design water, sanitary sewer, and storm sewer utility systems.
- Coordinate with surveyors, geotechnical engineers, architects, structural, mechanical, electrical, and process engineers.
- Review and approve engineering calculations, construction documents, technical reports, and permitting packages.
- Travel (out of town) to project sites to determine and confirm project scopes of work at existing brownfield sites.
- Conduct field investigations and site visits to support design and construction.
- Coordinate with clients, contractors, utility providers, and permitting agencies.
- Estimate engineering hours and prepare proposals for civil engineering projects.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and applicable engineering standards.
- Sign and seal engineering documents as required.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Civil Engineering
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required
- 7+ years of civil engineering design experience with site development, land development, or industrial facilities
- Experience preparing site layout, grading, drainage, utility, and stormwater plans
- Experience coordinating permitting with local and state agencies
- Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D and AutoCAD
- Knowledge of HydroCAD, and StormCAD or similar software is preferred
- Strong understanding of applicable civil engineering standards and permitting requirements
- Experience with processing, manufacturing, energy, or heavy industrial facilities is highly preferred
