What You'll Do

• Design and develop electrical system architecture for down hole oil and gas equipment
• Work with power electronics, motor drives (VFD/VSD), embedded systems, and motor controls
• Lead product development from concept through testing, validation, and commercialization
• Create and review schematics, PCB layouts, and system integration plans
• Use modeling and simulation tools to evaluate performance, thermal behavior, and durability
• Perform reliability analysis (FMEA, root cause analysis) and improve system robustness
• Support product testing, field trials, and prototype development
• Interface with customers and vendors to solve technical challenges

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (or related)
• Experience in electrical system design, testing, and product development
• Hands-on experience with power electronics or motor control systems
• Knowledge of VFDs/VSDs and motor drive technologies
• Experience with validation testing, FMEA, and root cause analysis
• Strong understanding of schematics, PCB design, and control systems
• Background working with electric motors and control theory
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Bonus Skills (Preferred, Not Required)

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
• Experience in oil & gas or harsh environments
• EMI/EMC knowledge for power electronics systems
• Experience with international standards (IEC, UL, TÜV)
• Product certification or regulatory approval experience
• Reliability engineering and continuous improvement experience
• Experience mentoring junior engineers

This is a Permanent position based out of Tulsa, OK.

The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $120000.00/yr.

This is a fully onsite position in Tulsa, OK.
