Duties

Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Instrumentation & Controls Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or closely related engineering field plus five (5) years of experience working in an Engineer IV E&l-related occupation performing each of the following supporting instrumentation reliability and maintenance that is routinely used in the oil and gas industry; designing, configuring, and troubleshooting instrumentation and control systems, including DCS and safety instrumented systems;

developing instrument and control work packages, including P&IDs, logic diagrams, and control narrative; applying commonly used engineering principles and analytical techniques to solve technical problems; and staying current with emerging technologies and advancements in instrumentation and control systems.

Minimum Requirements

Duties

Provide engineering support, guidance, and development assistance to colleagues in the field of instrumentation. Ensure the reliability and integrity of instrumentation systems across operating units. Analyze instrumentation data to support operational decision-making. Design, upgrade, configure, maintain, and monitor instrumentation equipment and performance. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues that impact operations and reliability. Develop project scopes, cost estimates, and AFEs for approval.

Stay current with advancements in instrumentation technologies and industry innovations. Serve as the primary support contact for instrumentation maintenance, focusing on reliability-related concerns.

Travel Requirements

Up to 10% domestic travel is required.
