Electrical Engineering Designer

Cyntergy seeks a skilled Electrical Engineering Designer to join our dynamic team, specializing in sophisticated electrical design projects across retail, government, and energy sectors. As a vital member of our engineering group, you will collaborate closely with architects and project managers to deliver innovative, safe, and sustainable electrical systems. This role requires a creative problem solver with a robust understanding of electrical standards and a passion for technological advancements in engineering.

Responsibilities

• Design electrical systems and circuits, including lighting systems, power systems, and electric controls for various types of buildings and infrastructure projects.
• Prepare electrical drawings and specifications while ensuring compliance with national and local code requirements.
• Coordinate with other engineering disciplines and architects to integrate electrical designs with other aspects of architectural plans.
• Analyze and select electrical components based on functionality, cost-efficiency, and energy efficiency.
• Conduct simulations and calculations for electrical load, performance prediction, and system layouts.
• Participate in project meetings and provide technical insights and updates.
• Review and revise designs to resolve installation issues and improve system reliability and efficiency.
• Assist in supervising installation, testing, and system commissioning activities.

Required Skills

• Proficient in CAD software and other engineering design tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with NEC, IEEE, and other relevant electrical codes and standards.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of working effectively in interdisciplinary teams.
• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
