Reality Capture Technician

Cyntergy is seeking a Reality Capture Technician to collect and process 3D data on commercial and institutional construction projects. In this role, you will plan and execute field capture using laser scanners, drones, and 360 imaging, ensuring accurate, safe, and efficient documentation of existing conditions. You'll register point clouds, integrate data into Revit and BIM workflows, and collaborate closely with architects, engineers, and construction teams.

Responsibilities

• Plan and perform field reality capture using 3
• D laser scanners, drones, and 360 cameras on active construction and existing facilities.
• Register, clean, and QA/QC point clouds, ensuring data accuracy and alignment with project control and BIM requirements.
• Convert captured data into usable models, drawings, and deliverables within Revit, Auto
• CAD, and related BIM tools.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, and construction teams to define capture scope, coverage, and deliverable standards.
• Maintain and troubleshoot scanning, survey, and imaging equipment; manage data storage and organized project archives.
• Follow Cyntergy and site-specific safety protocols, including OSHA requirements, for all field activities.
• Support continuous improvement of reality capture workflows, standards, and best practices across the firm.
