A bit about us:Our client designs and manufactures sophisticated industrial equipment requiring integrated electrical, automation, instrumentation, and control systems. The engineering team is looking for an experienced professional who can bridge the gap between electrical design and hands-on controls engineering.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys designing the electrical/control architecture but also wants to program PLCs, troubleshoot systems, and participate in commissioning.

- Develop control-panel designs, electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and I/O documentation
- Program and troubleshoot Allen-Bradley Control Logix PLCs using Studio 5000
- Develop and maintain Factory Talk HMI/SCADA applications
- Integrate instrumentation, sensors, valves, motors, and other electrical/control components
- Develop control narratives and sequence-of-operation documentation
- Support electrical component selection and control-system architecture
- Review P&IDs and translate process requirements into automated control strategies
- Participate in FAT/SAT activities and equipment testing
- 8+ years of experience in electrical controls, automation, industrial controls, or related engineering
- Strong hands-on experience with Allen-Bradley PLCs / Control Logix / Studio 5000
- Experience with Factory Talk
- Experience designing electrical control systems and/or control panels
- Strong understanding of electrical schematics, wiring, I/O, and instrumentation
- Experience with industrial automation and process equipment
- Ability to interpret P&IDs and develop controls based on process requirements
- Experience with commissioning, startup, FAT/SAT, and troubleshooting
- Industrial/manufacturing/process environment experience preferred
- Ability to travel approximately 25%
