Our client is a Tulsa-based engineering and technology company that designs and supports specialized industrial equipment used in power, process, and emissions-control applications.

They are looking for a Controls Engineer who can take ownership of control systems from engineering and programming through factory testing, field commissioning, and troubleshooting.

This is a hands‑on role for someone who enjoys PLC programming, instrumentation, electrical controls, and seeing their systems operate in the field.

You will have the opportunity to work on real industrial equipment from design through startup, rather than sitting exclusively behind a desk. The position combines controls engineering, instrumentation, PLC programming, testing, and field commissioning in a technically specialized environment!

• 5+ years of industrial controls, automation, instrumentation, or process controls experience
• Hands‑on PLC programming and troubleshooting
• Experience with Allen‑Bradley / Control Logix / Studio 5000 strongly preferred
• Experience with HMI/SCADA systems
• Ability to read and develop P&IDs and electrical/control schematics
• Experience with industrial instrumentation and I/O
• Experience with FAT, commissioning, startup, or field troubleshooting
• Industrial process equipment, power generation, manufacturing, or energy experience preferred
• Strong communication skills and ability to work across engineering and field teams
