Controls Engineer

Design and support electrical and controls systems for industrial process equipment — from engineering and panel design through PLC programming, testing, and startup.

Salary: $75,000 - $100,000 per year

Our client is an established Tulsa-based manufacturer of industrial process equipment. They are looking for an experienced Electrical / Controls Engineer to support the design, development, testing, and commissioning of electrical and automated control systems.

• Design electrical and control systems for industrial equipment
• Develop electrical schematics, control-panel layouts, wiring diagrams, and I/O documentation
• Program and troubleshoot Allen-Bradley PLCs
• Develop and support HMI/SCADA systems
• Work with instrumentation, sensors, valves, motors, and other control devices
• Interpret P&IDs and translate process requirements into control strategies
• Support FAT, commissioning, startup, and field troubleshooting
• Work with manufacturing, project engineering, customers, and field personnel
• Assist with equipment testing, documentation, and controls standards

• 5+ years of electrical controls, automation, instrumentation, or industrial engineering experience
• Hands‑on PLC programming experience
• Allen-Bradley / Control Logix / Studio 5000 experience preferred
• Ability to read electrical schematics and P&IDs
• Experience with industrial control panels and instrumentation
• Experience with equipment testing, commissioning, or startup
  
  Industrial manufacturing, process equipment, or similar experience preferred

Bonus:
Burner/combustion, boiler, process heating, BMS, or other industrial process-control experience.
