Overview

Responsible for overall maintenance of all electrical and mechanical gaming machines under direction of the Slot Supervisor. Performs all duties in accordance with Company core values, the objectives of the Osage Nation, internal policies, procedures and controls, as well, as applicable laws and gaming regulations.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Electronics experience and/or technical school certification or formal apprenticeship preferred
  • Experience in Gaming industry preferred
  • Required to pass a pre-employment drug screening and obtain and maintain an Osage Nation gaming license.
  • Required to maintain a valid Driver’s License.
  • Required to provide documents to show the applicant is eligible to work in the United States.
  • Osage, Native American, and Veteran preference shall apply to all positions at Osage Casinos.

Responsibilities

GUEST SERVICE:

  • Provides excellent internal and external guest services, treating internal and external guests with courtesy and consideration at all times.
  • Cooperates and communicates with all fellow employees, always exhibiting mutual respect and consistently projecting a positive, helpful image/attitude.

DEPARTMENT OPERATIONS:

  • Responsible for the proper preventative maintenance of all electronic gaming machines, including cleaning machines, overhauls, etc.
  • Responsible for overhaul and proper preventative maintenance of all electrical and mechanical gaming machines in accordance with gaming regulations.
  • Assists in break down, relocation and set up of machines and stands to be relocated.
  • Assists in ensuring machine integrity and at other times as requested.
  • Brings disputes and unusual guest activities to attention of the Shift Manager.
  • Provides excellent employee and guest service.
  • Meets the attendance guidelines of the job and adheres to regulatory, departmental and company policies.
  • Presents a sociable and professional demeanor towards guests and employees at all times.
Qualifications

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

  • Ability to read and write English and understand written and verbal instructions.
  • Must be punctual and dependable in reporting to work as scheduled and completing tasks.
  • Must maintain a neat and hygienic appearance.
  • Require the knowledge, skills, and abilities to work with personal computers, AV systems, player tracking card systems, gaming devices, safety equipment, etc.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret the most complex of documents, such as technical journals, financial reports and legal documents.
  • Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from employees, customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.
  • Ability to effectively present information to employees, managers, and top management.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals, and work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference.
  • Must possess excellent organizational and analytical skills.
  • The ability to follow complex instructions.
  • Ability to perform assigned tasks under limited supervision.
  • Must be able to effectively work alone and/or with other employees in a team environment.
  • Must be able effectively communicate with and provide guests with required service and resolve guests service problems in accordance with authority.
  • Must have the ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Requires ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
  • Requires ability to see problems and avoid situations that could be deemed to be illegal or represent a safety hazard to fellow employees or guests.
  • Must be able to listen to and assist employees and/or guests in finding solutions to problems or concerns.
