Summary:
Supervises the craps and table games tables. Observes play, inspects dice, settles disputes, and ensures that games are conducted properly. Creates a gaming atmosphere of excitement for guests and employees and ensures profitability of table games for the assigned shift. Oversee assigned Craps and table games, providing guidance and direction to staff. Monitors Craps and table games to ensure efficient game play, game integrity, protection of MNGE assets, while in compliance with all applicable tribal laws and regulations.
Responsibilities:
1. Observe play, inspect dice, settle disputes, and ensure proper game play.
2. Create an atmosphere that induces guests to have MNGE as the Casino of choice; actively build and maintain relations to ensure patrons receive superior service and information to encourage return business; initiate courteous and friendly conversations with guests; greet and welcome guest to the gaming floor.
3. Listen to guest complaints and resolve situations in an equitable manner to preserve MNGE standards of customer service.
4. Inform Table Games Shift Manager of important, relevant facts regarding specific players.
5. Provide gaming instructions to guests when requested, or as assigned, to encourage gaming activity.
6. Assist guests in playing and ensure adherence to established rules and procedures.
7. Actively support current marketing promotions.
8. Accurately administer and oversee Craps and table games in assigned area and shift, such as maintaining table chip trays/bank roll, inspecting/changing equipment as deemed necessary, maintaining appropriate game spread, ensuring adequate inventory of gaming supplies for area and generating various operating reports.
9. Evaluate and supervise dealers and support staff to ensure objectives are accomplished and gaming rules, regulations and internal controls are followed.
10. Open and close the Craps and table games in assigned area; monitor games in progress to ensure dealing is fast, flawless, procedurally correct or there is no unusual/suspicious activity between player and dealer.
11. Ensure MNGE assets are protected at all times; assist in department standards to ensure proper planning, efficient operation of card games and adherence to gaming regulations and internal controls.
12. Additional duties as assigned.
QualificationsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, and/or ability required.
EducationHigh School Diploma or equivalent required.
ExperienceMinimum 3 years dealing experience.
1 year of Table Games Supervisory experience preferred. Environment typically is a Class II or III Casino experience preferred.
Knowledge of table games.
