About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented Loan Operations Support Specialist to provide day to day operational support for key loan servicing and loan processing functions. This role plays an important part in ensuring loan documents, insurance records, and loan notices are processed accurately, timely, and in compliance with internal and regulatory requirements.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys organized work, supporting multiple processes, and working behind the scenes to keep lending operations running smoothly in a fast-paced banking environment.

What You Will Do
  • Loan Operations and Document Support
    • Scan, index, and file loan documents in the document imaging system
    • Maintain organized physical and electronic loan files
    • Process paid out loans and prepare collateral release documents
    • Update loan records using internal and third-party systems
    • Assist with loan tracking and reporting
    • Provide general administrative support to the Loan Operations team
  • Insurance Processing and Support
    • Open, sort, and review incoming insurance documents
    • Match insurance policies and certificates to the correct loan or collateral
    • Process insurance renewals and cancellations
    • Scan and route insurance documents to appropriate staff
    • Identify missing or incomplete insurance documentation for follow up
  • Loan Notices and Mailing
    • Print and prepare loan related notices and correspondence
    • Stuff and mail notices according to established timelines and procedures
    • Scan and route loan notices
    • Ensure confidentiality and accuracy of all mailed documents
  • Loan Exception and Funding Support as needed
    • Assist with clearing compliance, technical, and policy exceptions
    • Maintain exception tracking and monitoring reports
    • Support the daily loan funding queue by reviewing funding requests
    • Assist with advances on lines of credit and prevent duplicate or incorrect funding
Minimum Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Some experience in loan operations, banking support, or administrative work
  • Familiarity with loan documentation, insurance processing, and document imaging
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Reliable attendance and flexibility to work occasional overtime
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with consumer, real estate, or commercial loan products
  • Prior experience with insurance tracking or loan servicing support
  • Experience with Fiserv or Aurora systems
Physical Requirements
  • Frequent use of computer and keyboard
  • Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, and reach
  • Occasional lifting up to 30 pounds
Work Environment

Office environment with regular interaction and collaboration across departments
