- Oversee the full credit lifecycle, including credit evaluations, approvals, collections, and dispute resolution
- Manage lien filings, waivers, releases, and compliance with state and federal lien laws
- Develop and maintain credit policies, procedures, and best practices
- Partner with sales, accounting, and legal teams to mitigate risk while supporting revenue growth
- Monitor accounts receivable aging and proactively address delinquent accounts
- Analyze customer financial statements, credit reports, and payment histories
- Maintain accurate documentation related to liens, contracts, and credit decisions
- Utilize technology and platforms (preferred: ) to streamline lien management and compliance
- Lead or support audits related to credit and collections
- Train and mentor junior staff as needed
Required:
- 7+ years of experience in credit management, collections, or related financial role
- Strong working knowledge of lien rights and lien law
- Demonstrated ability to manage risk while maintaining customer relationships
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skill
- NACM knowledge
- Background in construction, manufacturing, or building materials
- Experience working in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
