As a teller at 802 Credit Union, you will play a key role in ensuring our members receive exceptional service in every interaction. You’ll be the face of our branch, responsible for providing day-to-day account services, assisting with transactions, and helping our members with their financial needs. This position is full-time, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
Key Responsibilities- Member Service of Excellence
:
Greet members with a friendly, positive attitude and assist them with a variety of services such as deposits, withdrawals, account inquiries, and loan payments. - Processing Transactions
:
Accurately process cash and check transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and loan payments. - Account Assistance
:
Help members with account maintenance such as balance inquiries, stop payments, and address any concerns or inquiries they may have. - Cross-Sell Services
:
Educate members on additional services and products they could benefit from, such as credit cards, loans, or online banking services. - Maintain Accuracy
:
Process transactions efficiently while ensuring accuracy and adherence to policies and procedures. - Security and Compliance
:
Maintain confidentiality and ensure all banking activities are compliant with relevant laws and regulations. - Team Collaboration
:
Work closely with your team and management to ensure smooth operations and meet branch goals.

Ability to think quickly and resolve issues as they arise in a calm and professional manner. - Experience (Preferred, Not Required):
Previous customer service or banking experience is a plus, but we are happy to train motivated individuals who are eager to learn.
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous experience in customer service, retail, or a related field preferred.
- Basic math skills and comfort handling cash.
- Ability to use computer systems and perform basic office tasks.
- Must be able to pass a background check.
